We use the BRB Behavior Reflects Belief   Module (BRB), as an approach used to redirect behaviors. Actions are often a manifestation of underlying thoughts, values, and attitudes. Beliefs are the foundation for our actions. Those actions reveal our unconscious beliefs, biases, and attitudes. Changing your behavior without addressing underlying beliefs may be ineffective. Thoughts, emotions, and external influences can guide our behavior. Because of this, CATTWE takes a more intimate approach.

The CATTWE Firm, LLC requires an initial meeting of the minds with the youth and their family or guardian. This is done to assess the youth's depth and level of knowledge regarding his or her faith tradition. The youth and their family or guardian then make a decision to commit and participate in our BRB program.

CATTWE's BRB Behavior Reflects BeliefTM Module further includes mentoring, seminars and workshops focused on ethics, values, religion and mental health.

         &       RECIDIVISM

"The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) defines, recidivism as a person's return to criminal activity, after being sanctioned or undergoes intervention for a previous crime."

RECIDIVISM & DELAWARE

According to worldpopulationreview.com, Delaware has a 55.9% recidivism rate, the second highest rate in the United States behind Alaska which ranks #1. But that rate discounts the rate for juveniles. According to some sources, 85% of juveniles commit another offense within 18 months of their release.

Our firm is committed to providing consultation and guidance in redirecting behaviors in the lives of youth, troubled youth and their families. In the year 2021 alone 41 states collectively spent $8 billion dollars to incarcerate more than 193,000 people for supervision violations and revocations. Delaware accounted for over $17M of those dollars.

Our firm's intention is to lower these numbers and the cost of the financial impact and burden of recidivism as a whole in the state of Delaware, and beyond.
